We aim to produce a simple pricing structure, which will, hopefully, make it easy for you to select a package that is right for you. These packages can be amended to suit your individual requirements.
Our rates have been designed to provide you with the enjoyment of a first class wedding with first class service but without premium prices.
Ceremony Package
2011 – £424
This includes:
- Room Hire for 1-2 hours
- Ivory seat covers with bows of your colour choice
- A selection of flowers of your choice
- PA system for music
- Use of the Old Nursery for the convenience of the Bridal Party
This can be extended to include drinks reception, canapés or afternoon tea.
Wedding Breakfast Package
2011 – £1272
This includes:
- Room Hire
- Ivory seat covers with bows of your colour choice
- A selection of floral table arrangements of your choice
- PA system for music and/or speeches
- Cake table and knife
If both packages are booked together you will receive a 50% discount on the Ceremony package.
Optional extras:
Merley House provides many varied photography opportunities, by the elegant fireplaces, against the tall windows, or on the dramatic staircase. Outside, the house itself provides a magnificent backdrop and there is also a beautiful archway on the East side next to the pergola.
Less than 200 metres from Merley House is the Orangery Suite, situated in the original walled gardens of the house. These beautiful landscaped gardens can be hired in addition to Merley House for further photographs or for your drinks reception. At the Orangery Suite you and your guests can indulge in several activities such as outdoor chess, croquet, short tennis or crazy golf.

Flowers
Our flowers are supplied by Riverside Flowers who provide beautiful venue decorations. They can also provide your bouquets and buttonholes if you wish.
Catering
Our preferred caterers are Merlin’s Catering. Merlin’s are familiar with our facilities and provide fantastic food and outstanding service.
We can provide a bar with a large range of soft and alcoholic drinks. Corkage is charged at £4 per bottle.
Organising a wedding can become stressful when it should be enjoyable! We intend to keep the process as simple as possible for you. If you decide to use our inclusive packages we will communicate all of your requests and provide you with all the relevant information to ensure your celebration runs smoothly. You need only pay one amount and we will pay all of the suppliers (including deposits) on your behalf.
Should you wish to use your own suppliers we also offer the venue on a room only basis.
Ceremony room 2011 – £265
Wedding Breakfast room 2011 - £636
Once again if you require our facilities for the Ceremony and Wedding Breakfast you will receive a 50% discount on the room hire for the Ceremony.

Prices quoted here are plus VAT and are indicative of what we can offer. We believe everyone is unique and so is every event and celebration. We are more than happy to tailor our packages to your individual requirements. Should you have any additional requirements such as a marquee, transport, live music or the need for local accommodation we can arrange all of this on your behalf. We have also enclosed details of friends of Merley House who all provide fantastic services at special rates. If contacting them directly please tell them that we provided you with their details.
As a deposit we require 25% of your total booking with the balance including VAT due 12 weeks prior to your event. Please see our terms and conditions for further information.
