We aim to produce a simple pricing structure, which will, hopefully, make it easy for you to select a package that is right for you. Our rates have been designed to provide you with the enjoyment of a first class event with first class service but without premium prices. These packages can be amended should you want something different.
Wedding Ceremony Package £535

Ivory seat covers with bows of your colour choice.

PA system for music
Use of the Old Nursery for the convenience of the Bridal Party
Wedding Breakfast & Evening Package £1500

Room Hire for the day and evening

A selection of floral table arrangements of your choice
PA system for music and/or speeches
Cake table and knife
Use of the Bar
If both packages are booked together you will receive a 50% discount on the Ceremony package
Evening Only £240
This includes:

50 or more people using one of our catering menus – £120 off the total price
75 or more people using one of our catering menus – £240 off the total price
Flowers
Our flowers are supplied by a local florist who provides beautiful venue decorations. They can also provide your bouquets and buttonholes if you wish.
Food and Drink
Merley House provides a fantastic selection of menus for your day. We always use local, free range food where possible.
Please discuss individual/dietary requirements so that we can ensure your menu caters for your occasion.
The Merley House bar offers a large range of soft and alcoholic drinks.
For any drinks not supplied by Merley House we charge £6 plus VAT per opened bottle this does, however, include use of our glasses. Please check with Merley House before you bring your own drink.
Photos
Merley House provides many varied photography opportunities, by the elegant fireplaces, against the tall windows, or on the dramatic staircase. Outside, the house itself provides a magnificent backdrop and there is also a beautiful archway on the East addition to Merley House for further photographs or for your drinks reception.
Optional Extras
Less than 200 metres from Merley House is the Orangery Suite, situated in the original walled gardens of the house. These beautiful landscaped gardens can be hired in you and your guests can indulge in several activities such as outdoor chess, croquet, short tennis or crazy golf. The Orangery Suite is a separate company and viewings of the gardens can only be made by appointment only.
Use of the Orangery Suite for 2 hours: £300
Prices quoted here include VAT and are indicative of what we can offer. We believe everyone is unique and so is every event and celebration. We are more than happy to tailor our packages to your individual requirements. We have also enclosed details of friends of Merley House who all provide fantastic services at special rates. If contacting them directly please tell them that we provided you with their details.
